By accessing or using The Verified HQ website and services ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms, you may not access or use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
The Verified HQ provides a platform for US business verification, including SEC filing searches, OFAC sanctions screening, EIN verification, trademark searches, and premium compliance reports. The Service aggregates publicly available data from government sources and presents it in a structured format. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all data is complete or current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
The Verified HQ offers free tools for basic business searches and screening. Free tools are provided "as is" without warranty. Usage of free tools may be subject to rate limits and fair use policies. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free tools at any time without notice.
Premium reports and API access require payment. All prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is due at the time of purchase. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and authorize us to charge the applicable fees. Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
If you are unsatisfied with a premium report, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Each refund request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are not available for reports that have been downloaded or accessed more than three times. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
The Service, including its text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of The Verified HQ and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. The verified trust badge may only be displayed by companies with an active verification status.
The Verified HQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so this provision may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Verified HQ, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the website.
